πŸ‘€Twitter2Telegram Follows by Newsly

How can you use Twitter2Telegram (T2T) to extract alpha from crypto Twitter?

Newsly acquired T2T in February 2024, and consequently all subscription revenue generated from that point onwards has been allocated towards $NEWS. In time we will be integrating T2T directly into Newsly, so that we can use the powerful filters and group features that already exist there. But for now, T2T exists as a standalone, separate product to Newsly.

What is Twitter2Telegram?

T2T is a telegram bot that allows its users to receive notifications when a Twitter account of their choosing goes on to follow other accounts. Users have been able to extract powerful alpha using this tool as it allows you to identify the projects that key accounts/expert traders are following so that you too can find projects early.

By adding influential or early Twitter accounts to your T2T Follow List, you can save yourself the time of having to trawl through thousands of Twitter posts to know about upcoming projects.

As well as your standard notifications (when someone follows someone else), you can enable additional filters to highlight when an account has a 🧐Low number of followers (a project that appears to be under the radar) and be early to these!

Likewise, you can configure πŸ”₯Hot accounts filters, so that when 2 or more (user configurable) accounts follow the same account in the same day, you get an additional hint! A lot of your follows all starting to follow that new ERC20 token? Make sure you pay attention!

Follow List - How to manage follows

Let's add a new account to our Watch List, to be notified when they Follow someone on Twitter.

Use the bottom keyboard to click πŸ‘€ Manage Follows' then πŸ‘€ Follow Account. Here you can enter the Twitter handles you would like to track. Remember you get 3 free follows but you can subscribe to enable more accounts, as well as extra features that help power-up your bot!

As long as the account/s entered exist and are not protected the bot will instantly start to watch, and provide follow notifications!

Well done! When this user follows a new Twitter account, you'll receive a notification direct to your Telegram.

Want to remove an account to free up more watch slots?

It’s just as easy to remove an account as it is to add one - although if you’re having to remove accounts to keep within your current limits we would always recommend upgrading your subscription to increase the permitted follows, to keep the most alpha possible.

Under πŸ‘€ Manage Follows, select πŸ—‘οΈ Remove Account and enter the handle that you wish to remove.

Forgot who you're watching? Let's find out!

We often leave follows there for months at a time, squeezing the absolute most alpha we can out of accounts, and checking for confluence by looking to πŸ”₯Hot account notifications. In doing so it's easy to forget who we've added. If you need a reminder of who you're following just select πŸ—’ List Accounts and you'll be presented with a full list of your follows. Why not share these with your friends or favorite alpha groups?

Filters - Don't ignore this T2T feature!

If you are on any paid plan, our Daily/Weekly Summaries are a game changer. Setting up a filter is a MUST for these. The πŸ”₯Hot and 🧐Low notifications mentioned, where you get highlighted notifications for popular accounts (or new low profile accounts), are setup here.

For free users, I'm sorry but you miss out on this feature! You'll have to just keep an eye on the feed and hope you don't miss important follows! Users who have a Degen subscription tier and above get 'Intraday Notifications' enabled - meaning you'll get to see immediately when a πŸ”₯Hot or 🧐Low follow occurs, instead of having to wait for a Daily or Weekly Summary!

Summaries - Let us filter your alpha for you

A powerful feature of T2T is making sure you're always up to date with the latest alpha. Every morning we deliver you a Summary of all the interesting follows that you have tracked during the last 24 hours.

Here you can find an ordered list of your HOT and LOW follows, making sure you can quickly highlight what important projects are on the horizon.

Can't catch up daily? Well, our Weekly summary condenses things even further, gathering data from the last 7 days. These reports are packed with the hottest projects of the week. The weekly summary works best when you have at least 50 follows enabled.

Whilst all subscribed users get a Weekly and Daily Summary, users signed up for the Degen tier and upwards can generate these on demand! Get a weekly summary mid-week to help get ahead of the pack on some really low-profile projects πŸ‘€

Groups - Power-up Twitter2Telegram

The built in Groups feature (you get one free, paid subscriptions can access more) helps clear through the noise in your T2T notifications. It's an exceptionally powerful feature we're really proud of, but it's often missed by new users!

By grouping up Twitter accounts, you can get confluence between a set of users about a new project. For instance, lets say we set up a Twitter group of accounts we know are often early to low-cap projects.

We make a group named 'Low Cap Heroes' and add 5 accounts to this group. Let's say we then set a filter on this group, so that when 3 of our 5 accounts all follow one Twitter account, we get a specific notification that 'Low Cap Heroes' are watching this. Now we know to pay attention, because this project is likely a strong runner!

Let's create a Group

If you're subscribed you'll be able to see more features in Groups, but for Free users. Let's start by selecting πŸ‘€ Follow Account then πŸ‘₯ Follow Groups.

Here we can create a new Group, name it, and add Follows from your already existing watchlist (see how to add these above).

Now we can configure the alerts for this group. Select βš™οΈ Group Filters and you can specify how many follows a project needs to accrue to be highlighted as a 'Low Cap Heroes' follow.

Get creative with your Groups, and join our TG chat to discuss approaches with other users - we're always hanging out there: https://t.me/+Ns9nqhBDWTk0Njlk
