Getting Newsly connected to the on-chain exchange Hyperliquid

Hyperliquid is an order book perpetual futures decentralised exchange (DEX). Hyperliquid does everything centralized exchanges (CEX) do, but on-chain.
With a decentralized exchange, you are able to self custody your assets on-chain, and access symbols or pairs that may not be available on centralized exchanges.
Whilst there are a few order book exchanges now becoming available, Newsly selected Hyperliquid for a few important reasons:
Wide selection of symbols, suitable to capture the vast majority of news trading.
Open to improvements and suggestions from integration partners.
Rapid execution (20k orders/second), good liquidity.
First mover in granular permissions for on-chain exchanges.
An important reason for Newsly selecting Hyperliquid, is they are the first exchange to provide an API based approach to DEX trading. Existing DEXs require the person making the trade to hold the private key of the account, meaning users assets are exposed to the platform. π With Hyperliquid we pushed the team to add unique Agent API Wallets such that Newsly can make orders on your behalf, but we have no access to withdraw or move funds.
As you can have as many accounts as you want on Hyperliquid, it makes an excellent starting point when beginning to trade with a service such as Newsly. You can deposit as much or as little funds in the account as you wish, there is no KYC to slow you down when setting up, and you can easily withdraw funds back to a different account or a CEX if you need a different level of liquidity as a larger trader.
We think that unless you're planning to make use of our integration with (using their service for copytrading), and you don't already have a CEX account, setting up Hyperliquid is the fastest way to get started.
To set up youβre going to need a that is funded with USDC from Arbitrum. In order to deposit assets to Arbitrum you can use a Bridge or withdraw funds from a supported CEX direct to on chain.
Then you will need to authorize Newsly to use the account, by adding your bot generated unique Agent API Wallet to your Hyperliquid account.
